Thousands of Buffalo…

Huge herds of Buffalo have been seen in Hwange this year and we were lucky enough to photograph them at Masuma dam. Please excuse the washed out – odd shaped pics! It was lunch time on a particularly hot day.Buffalo P1100421

Yeah, although it doesnt really come off – we sat there and watched them come over the hill, drink and move off and all the while more came from behind – they must drink a heck of a lot of water each day. Ive got a video Im struggling to upload – Ill post it when I do.

We went to Matusadona last in 2009 and saw not one buffalo! We were told they were there, just we couldn’t see them!! being a farmer I asked where then is the manure??? Hopefully the numbers are building up in the parks along Kariba
