Rodents with tails? Maybe so, but I love to watch them. This one, dropped in for a quick visit while we were drinking our early morning coffee at Sinamatella CampsquirrelsquirrelOops – that big eye, staring at me!

Ive noticed, I can watch animals for ages, but pick up the camera, and they immediately see the “big eye” staring at them. Evolution, I guess!

I love them too Frankie. Except the ugly grey squirrels here in Europe which are native to USA and we’re brought to Europe. They almost wiped out our beautiful native red squirrels. People are fighting to bring back our native reds.
do you know if your squirrels are also “imported” or natives?

Sorry…I dont know anything about them. But they have not changed in my lifetime, so I guess these are the indigenous ones.
