I don’t think Ive ever seen a warthog with such huge tusks. He didn’t even bother to get up off his knees while we sat for ages watching him and snapping pics…P1140673-001

Smiling this side as I read the title without looking at the picture & imagined a huge ellie. Up pops one of my favourites – piggies. That dude is a porker and a half with some life experience under those tusks.

Happy 2016, may it be kind to you and hubby xx

Many thanks and the same to you: I hope 2016 is an awesome year for you. We did have a big porker like this on the farm, near one of the water troughs, but Im not sure his tusks were this large.  All the animals in the Khama Rhino Sanctuary were not wasting time looking at the people looking at them, they were all munching while they could, as if they knew the season was going to be a scorcher…and boy, is it a scorcher

I agree! Although warthog are not a dangerous as wild pig, his tusks can give a nasty jab

I agree, and he wasnt wasting any time running away from us either! ( would have liked to get him with his tail up!)
